輔酶Q10 (Coenzyme Q10) 存在於人體每個細胞內，負責製造能量、補充動力及對抗氧化。人體可以自行合成，也可從食物中獲得，但隨著年齡增長，身體合成Q10的能力逐漸下降，而每個器官的Q10水平都會出現不同程度的下跌*。到40歲時，心臟的Q10水平只有20歲的6成；80歲的時候更下跌至大約4成。肺部的Q10水平於60歲以後大幅度急降，至80歲的時只有大約5成。
